Business Analyst

Description:

Business analysts understand the relationship between business problems and opportunities and recommend actions that enable an organization to achieve its goals through alignment of business and information technology efforts.  The Loblolly business analyst is able to quickly understand a client’s objectives and needs using an appropriate balance of business acumen and technical skills.  The BA can design and implement solutions that deliver organizational value.

Desired Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in a business analyst role
  • Government experience preferred
  • As-Is /To Be Process and Gap Analysis
  • Requirements Elicitation and Validation
  • Thorough understanding of the SDLC and how the BA interacts with all stakeholders throughout the lifecycle
  • Recommends holistic solutions through analysis and integration of organization, process, and technology
  • Familiarity with project management best practices
  • Ability to incorporate change management concepts into solution deliverables to gain buy-in through communication, mentoring, and training
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – ability to tailor communication based on audience
  • Strong facilitation skills
  • Can work effectively with minimal supervision as a team lead, individual contributor, or team member
  • Track record of timely completion of quality work products
  • College degree
